1. Controller

Fienemann TORPEDO GmbH, Friedrich-List-Straße 9, 25451 Quickborn, phone 04106 / 62 77-0, email info@torpedo-online.de; further details in the legal notice. Please also address any questions about data protection to this address.

2. Visiting this website (server log files)

When you visit this website, our web server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, requested address, status code, amount of data transferred, the previously visited page (referrer) and the identifier of your browser (browser type and operating system). We process these data in order to deliver the website, ensure its trouble-free operation and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in these purposes. Without these data, the website cannot be displayed. The data are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

We use Google Analytics (section 4) only if you have given your prior consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We store your choice in the consent banner in your browser (local storage, entry “torpedo-consent”) so that the banner does not appear on every page view; this is strictly necessary for this purpose (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). The entry is valid for 12 months, after which we ask again. Your consent is voluntary. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.

4. Web analytics with Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_ with our identifier, stored for up to 2 years) and records how you use the website: pages viewed, time spent, origin of the visit (referrer), approximate location (country, region), device type, browser and operating system. According to Google, IP addresses of users in the EU are not stored. We use the analysis to improve the website. The data are deleted after 2 months; Google Signals and advertising features are switched off.

Google processes the data on our behalf. In doing so, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; an adequacy decision of the European Commission therefore exists for the USA (Art. 45 GDPR).

The legal basis is your consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. For withdrawal, see section 3.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering enquiries). Providing your information is voluntary; without it, we cannot handle your enquiry. The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for handling the enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

6. Applications

If you apply to us, we process your application documents and the information you provide to us in this context in order to decide on establishing an employment relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Only the persons involved in the selection process have access. Providing your information is voluntary; without it, however, we cannot consider your application. If you are hired, the documents become part of your personnel file. Otherwise, we delete them no later than six months after the end of the process; until then, we retain them in order to be able to defend ourselves against possible claims, for example under the General Equal Treatment Act (Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz, AGG) (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Hosting and service providers

This website and our email mailboxes are operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, on servers in Germany. Fonts, images and documents are delivered exclusively from this server. The web server is maintained by an IT service provider acting on our behalf. Both receive personal data only to the extent necessary for their services.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing and to data portability (Articles 15 to 18 and 20 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us: Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel.

9. Right to object

Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21(1) GDPR).
